Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the level of sharia financial literacy for fishermen in Desa Pahlawan Kecamatan Tanjung Tiram Kabupaten Batubara. This study uses primary data through the distribution of questionnaires and sampling as many as 100 fishermen in Desa Pahlawan Kecamatan Tanjung Tiram Kabupaten Batubara. Hypothesis in this study is Gender, age, education, and Expenditures, allegedly there are differences in the level of Islamic financial literacy for fishermen in Desa Pahlawan Kecamatan Tanjung Tiram Kabupaten Batubara The material that will be used in this research are: Quantitative Material, where Quantitative Material in this study relates to 4 independent variables used namely gender, age, education and expenditure. While the dependent used is Islamic financial literacy in terms of the knowledge and ability of respondents. The method used in this study is by using analytical techniques with Chi-Square test and processed with SPSS version 23 for windows.
