Abstract

Utilization of Solar Energy is increasingly in accordance with the provisions in the Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 49 of 2018, jo. Candy No. 13 of 2019, jo. Ministerial Regulation No. 16 of 2019, Rooftop PLTS is the process of generating electricity using photovoltaic modules, which are placed on roofs, walls, or other parts of buildings belonging to PLN customers. In this case, Solar Energy Utilization is implemented in a type 45 residential house with an installed electrical power of 1300 VA. Utilization of PLTS with an Off Grid system helps in reducing electricity that must be activated every month, as well as a backup in the event of a PLN blackout. PLTS uses 2 solar panels, each of which requires 250 Wp in series, 2 Lithium-ion batteries, each 100 Ah in parallel, plus an inverter and Solar Charge Controller. By using the off-Grid PLTS system, it means that PLTS is independent, not dependent on the PLN electricity network.
