PENGAMALAN ZIKIR DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER PADA JAMAAH PONDOK PARSULUKAN BAITUL JAFAR DESA KLAMBIR LIMA KEBUN KECAMATAN HAMPARAN PERAK
Abstract
Some of the reasons for the need for character education, including the large number of Muslims who are still far from character values, because of the weak awareness of moral values, giving moral values to the people is one of the most important functions of civilization, the role of dhikr as character educators becomes increasingly important when many people get little moral teaching from parents, society, or religious institutions, there are still universally accepted moral values such as attention, trust, respect, and responsibility, democracy has a special need for moral education because democracy is a rule of, for and by society, there is no such thing as a value-free education. Religious leaders have made many changes to the character of these people, one of which is by practicing dhikr through tariqat as a means of spiritual enlightenment. Dhikr is essentially remembering Allah and forgetting anything other than Allah when in dhikr. So the implication of such dhikr includes remembering, paying attention, and feeling that he is always being watched by God and even has a broad effect on the soul and consciousness which is then actualized in patterns of thought and behavior. It can be concluded that dhikr is the awareness of Muslims as creatures of Allah who are obliged to remember Him both verbally, heart and spirit as well as think Islamically and act according to Islamic Shari'ah, whether he is standing, sitting, lying or. This awareness becomes the "spirit" of every Muslim's actions.
