Abstract

Household/family income levels are still very poor in Medan Belawan subdistrict, most of the income is used to purchase, eat, clothing, other daily necessities and pay debts to the middleman (loan shark). They never thought of arranging such outcomes that might be on the tube or the side for some other reason. For those who do not care about tomorrow's needs, the money received must be invested. The sale price in the fish auction market is highly dependent on one of the factors contributing to the increase in the income of fishing families in the production of fish. Fish equipment is the primary factor in enhancing fish efficiency. In addition to being identical to the production of the carriage used the fishing fleet is also similar to the protection and safety of the fishermen themselves, and small vessels are usually at risk of sinking while searching for fish. Fishermen who still use sampan/boat and no advanced fishing equipment in technology to make the catches obtained inversely proportional to the results of fishermen using larger vessels. Findings of the study of the experiment, natural situations have a significant impact on the capture, so because of the importance of P> 0.05, the natural situation does not have a significant impact on the family's welfare, so the working hours, catching the discovery has a significant impact on the catch and the family's welfare, so that the catch has a significant impact on the welfare of the family.
