Abstract

Lau Gumba Village is a village located in Brastagi District, Karo Regency, North Sumatra Province which is quite well known because it has quite interesting tourist objects to visit. The number of visitors or guests visiting Lau Gumba Village, both guests from the local community to take care of certain needs or tourists or investors or immigrants who are working in the Lau Gumba Village Area, is always recorded on the guest book visit list. The recording of the guest book is still done manually in the recording of the guest book. This made it difficult for the head of Lau Gumba Village to identify guests who came to the Lau Gumba Village office, because they had to look up a list of names of guests who visited the office of the head of Lau Gumba Village. The problem that the head of Lau Gumba Village got when holding weekly or monthly meetings with the Berastagi Sub-district Head was that it was difficult to provide a report on the list of guests visiting the Lau Gumba Village head's office because the guest data recorded in the guest book manually was not structured in compiling guest data that visited the village. the office of the head of Lau Gumba Village. This requires information technology that can present guest data from the office of the head of Lau Gumba Village in a structured and systematic manner so that it makes it easier for the head of Lau Gumba Village to provide reports to the Berastagi Sub-District Head during weekly and monthly meetings. The method used in this research uses UML (Unified Modeling Language), PHP, Java and MySQL databases as data storage. This guest book system has two programs, namely an admin program to manage web-based guest data and a user program to display guests who have visited Lau Gumba Village based on mobile android. This guest book system aims to provide convenience and speed to the head of Lau Gumba Village explaining and documenting guests visiting the office of the head of Lau Gumba Village, Berastagi District, Karo Regency.
